About the event

Get to know the KAP140 and GFC700 autopilots through introductory videos, group discussion, and hands-on simulator flying.

We’ll start with instructional videos covering the basics, then discuss how to use the autopilot confidently while staying in command. Put what you’ve learned into practice with some fun, autopilot-only simulator flying—using the controls and modes to guide the airplane through a friendly challenge.

What’s it like flying an autopilot to minimums?

We’ll explore that experience in the simulator, understand the autopilot limitations, and discuss when to disconnect or go missed.

An evening to ask questions, compare the two systems, and build confidence using the autopilot.
